The following page describes how to use this web site to register, add photos to
your account, order photos and manage your details.
Registering and Managing Your Account
Before you can order your photos you will need to create
an account, simply enter your personal details in the fields provided and
choose a username and password which you will use each time you return to the
site. Please make sure you enter a valid email address as all order, payment and
dispatch confirmations will be sent to this address.
You will also need to enter your email address to
recover your login details should you lose
them.
You can update your personal details or
change your login password at any time by
selecting the 'My Account' button at the top of the page.
Adding Photos to your Account and Managing your Photos
Once registered, and each time you login, you will arrive at the
My Photos page. This page shows you all the photos
you have added to your account and enables you to add photos to your virtual
shopping basket. If you have received a proof card from Van Cols photographers
or your child's school, select the Add Photo button
at the top of the page.
Then simply enter the photo code and photo password exactly as they appear on
your proof card, please note that both photo codes and photo passwords are case
sensitive and must be entered in upper and lower case as they appear on your
proof card. If the details you entered are not recognised by our system please
check your proof card, it is easy to mistake some characters for others e.g.
lowercase 'L' is often mistaken for an uppercase 'i'.
Ordering Photos
With your account comes a virtual shopping basket
into which you can place any number or combination of our excellent value Photo
Packs and Additions. To add items to your basket, from the My Photos page select
the 'Add to Basket' button below your photo.
Choose what combination of Photo Packs and additions you want to purchase and
choose 'Add to Basket', you will then be shown the contents of your basket with
any discounts applicable. You may remove items or completely empty your basket.
To continue adding photos to your basket select the 'Continue Shopping' button
or to proceed to the checkout and pay for your order select the 'Checkout'
button. You can return to the My Basket page at any
time by selecting the My Basket button at the top of the page.
Before entering your payment details you must enter your delivery and billing
details if they are different from your personal details. Please enter the
billing details as they appear on your credit/debit card statement as these
details will be used to check the authenticity of your credit/debit card.
You may also enter any special instructions for our lab staff to follow when
printing your photos, if you add any instructions or comments please also enter
a telephone number so that we may contact you if we have any questions about
your instructions.
Finally, you will be redirected to our Secure Payment Partner's web site to
enter your credit/debit card details. Please follow the instructions on-screen
to finalise your order. After entering your payment details you will be
redirected back to VanColsOnline.co.uk and will be shown the result of your
payment.
Receiving Your Order
Once your order has been placed and paid for we will process your order and
dispatch it as soon as possible, please see the
Terms and Conditions for delivery
information. You will be sent confirmation emails when we have received payment
for your order and when your order has been dispatched.
